Is Krua Thai Moo-ka-ta halal?
No. Our restaurants are non-halal and we serve pork across the mookata sets and street-food menu.
What exactly is mookata?
Mookata is Thailand's street-food barbecue. You cook at the table on a domed grill ringed by a moat of simmering broth: meats and seafood grill on the dome while vegetables and noodles cook in the soup below.
What time do you open and close?
Most outlets are open 11.30am until 6am and close on Thursdays. Cheras closes on Wednesdays instead. Setia Alam is open daily from 11.30am to 11pm.
How much is a mookata set?
Mookata sets start from RM49.90 for 2 pax at daytime prices and RM55.90 during supper hours. Prices are subject to 6% service tax and 6% service charge.
Do you take reservations?
Yes. You can book a table online at any of our 8 outlets through the reservations page. Walk-ins are always welcome, though weekends and late nights get busy.
Do you have private rooms or karaoke?
Yes, at our Damansara Uptown outlet. There are 6 private rooms named after Thai cities, seating 5 to 20 pax, with karaoke in most of them. Minimum spend ranges from RM200 to RM600 depending on the room.

We have 8 outlets across KL and Selangor: Kepong, Kota Damansara, Cheras, Sri Petaling, Subang Jaya, Setia Alam, The Scott Garden and Damansara Uptown.
Do you deliver?
